Description
After bombardment with deuterons, Li metal was dissolved with dilute acid. From this solution Be7 was precipitated as Be(CH)2 on Fe carrier using NH4CH. The contaminates remained in the filtrate. After repeated precipitations in the presence of appropriate holdback carriers, the Fe was extracted with iso-propyl ether, leaving the pure Be7 solution.
