Description

The economics of various types of reactor containment are briefly discussed. Charts [?] suitable for feasibility cost estimates are presented for spherical and cylindrical pressure vessels. Approximate limitations on cylindrical pressure vessel height imposed by buckling considerations for snow, wind and vessel weight loads are also presented.
