Description

The Limnology Department of the Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia made a study of the aquatic life of the Savannah River in the vicinity of the Savannah River Plant of the Atomic Energy Commission at the request of E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Company. The purpose of this survey was to establish an objective measure of the aquatic life of the river between Mile 134-175 and of Upper Three Runs so that any significant effect of the industrial or sanitary wastes could be determined in the future.
