Description

The Clinical Biophysics program is concerned with metabolic problems and radioactive acetate, glycine, methionine and bicarbanate have been administered to study some of the pathways utilized in humans. Another group is approaching the problem from the viewpoint of mineral metabolism. The Gas Phase counting program has provided many of the sensitive detection techniques required by the other programs.
