The purpose of this test was to determine the load at which each of the governor valves opens with a primary plant T(avg) of 500 F. Conclusions: It was found that the No. 2 valve opened at a generator load of 16.6 mw, the No. 3 valve opened at a generator load of 33.6 mw and the No. 4 valve opened at a generator load of 48.4 mw.
