Description

A sample of 46 ..mu../sup -/..mu../sup -/ events was obtained in studying high energy neutrino interactions at Fermilab. The analysis of these data yields a prompt rate, N/sup prompt/(..mu../sup -/..mu../sup -/)/N/sup prompt/(..mu../sup -/..mu../sup +/), of 0.12 +- 0.05 for P/sub ..mu../ > 10 GeV/c. The ..mu../sup -/..mu../sup -/ events are predominately of hadronic origin. 9 references.
