Description

A model is presented which provides a reasonable estimate for thermal conductivity of (Th, U)O/sub 2/ over the entire range of composition and for temperatures to melting. The model adequately predicts existing low temperature data and incorporates an electronic thermal conduction model to yield the best available estimate of thermal conductivity at high temperatures to melting over the entire range of composition.
