Description

Technical report. From Abstract : "Preparations of high purity MnCl2, CrCl2, CrI2, UBr4, UI3 and Sb4S3 are described; the melting points obtained for CrI2 (868°) and Sb2S3 (559.5°) are significantly higher than previously reported. The small solubilities of manganese and chromium in the respective halides studied were characterized primarily by the depression of the freezing points of the salts by excess metal."
