DE'VANTRI DeJUAN GARZA (Ned), from Barcelona, Spain, is an entering freshman
at Santa Fe University of Art and Design majoring in dance choreography. He is a gradu-
ate of Guyer High School in Denton, where he performed the roles of Indian in Peter Pan,
Mary Sunshine in Chicago, Horse in Equus, and Herald in Once Upon a Mattress. He also
performed in White Christmas and Les liaisons dangereuses. Later this month, he will be a
dancer in Denton Community Theatre's production of Hairspray.
GREGORY GRABOWSKI (Assistant Conductor) is a doctoral student in orchestral
conducting from Edison, New Jersey. He graduated from UNT and received a master's degree
in conducting from Southern Methodist University. He has participated in the Conductors
Institute at South Carolina, the California Conducting Institute, the Conductors Institute at
Bard, and the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra Conducting Workshop. At SMU, he conducted
the Meadows Symphony Orchestra in a performance of Ravel's La Valse, Gershwin's An
American in Paris, and the Tchaikovsky Serenade for Strings.
JACOB HARRIS (Matt) is a senior theatre major from North Richland Hills, Texas. Last
year he performed in the UNT production of Reefer Madness.
EMILY HUESKE (Celia Peachum), from Tolland, Connecticut, is a doctoral student in
vocal performance. She is a graduate of the University of Connecticut, where she performed
the role of Third Lady in The Magic Flute, and received a master's degree in voice from
the New England Conservatory, where she performed the roles of Madame de la Haltibre in
Cendrillon and Cecilia March in Little Women. With UNT Opera last year, she performed the
role of Alisa in Lucia di Lammermoor and the role of Ethel in Jake Heggie's Again for the
Center for Contemporary Opera in New York City. She also appeared as Mrs. Gibbs in Our
Town with Aspen Opera Theatre Center, Cousin Hebe in H.MS. Pinafore with Simsbury Light
Opera Company, Bianca in The Rape of Lucretia with Intermezzo Young Artist Program,
and Cecilia March in Little Women with the Boston Opera Project. She has performed with
the Fort Worth Opera for the last three years. She performed the roles of Jack's Mother and
Giant's Wife in Jack and the Beanstalk with The Dallas Opera.
COURTNEY JACKSON (Vixen), from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, is a senior at Marcus
High School in Flower Mound, Texas. She recently performed in Hairspray with Garland
Civic Theatre. At the Kim Dawson Theater, she appeared in Godspell and Sweeney Todd
and performed the roles of Fratulein Kost in Cabaret, Glinda in The Wizard of Oz, and Silly
Girl and Dish in Beauty and the Beast.
