Description

We have developed a methodology for evaluating the prompt neutron emission probability distribution, P/sub nu/, that nu neutrons are emitted in a fission and for comparing measured distributions for a given nuclide. This methodology gives an objective way of establishing the best available values of P/sub nu/ for a given nuclide and realistic values for the uncertainties.
