ABSTRACT
The contents of both irradiation samples and calibration standards
were evaluated by means of measurements of reactivity, neutron activa-
tion, and by neutron radiography. The contents of the irradiation
samples were found to be as quoted by the manufacturer. The pure
absorber samples (lead, aluminum, copper, niobium, and gold) were
found to be satisfactory except for the 100% gold sample which was
heavily self-shielded. The U02-Al samples were found to be unsatisfac-
tory because of uncertainty as to their contents.iii
