The feasibility of utilizing a jet pump and a shroud as a recirculation device within the blanket of the proposed reactcr pressure vessel for the HHE-3 was examined A Schute-Koerting designed jet pump was tested in conjunction with a 1/3 scale plastic model consisting of a core vessel, two constant area shrouds, and a blanket vessel.
