Psychosocial predictors of physical activity and health-related quality of life among Shanghai working adults

Description: This article investigates the psychosocial predictors of physical activity and quality of life (QOL) among Shanghai working adults. Stress and social support from friends were two important sources of self-efficacy, all of which facilitated more physical activity participation. Longitudinal Effects of Motivation and Physical Activity on Depressive Symptoms among College Students

Description: This article is guided by Lubans et al.'s conceptual framework and examines the longitudinal relationships of physical activity (PA) motivation with leisure-time PA and depressive symptoms among college students over one academic year. Does Perceived Competence Mediate between Ball Skills and Children’s Physical Activity and Enjoyment?

Description: This article examines the potential mediating role of perceived motor skill competence on relationships between actual ball skills and children’s physical activity (PA) and PA enjoyment. Correlation analyses showed positive relationships among the study variables. The findings highlight that ball skills significantly impact students’ perceived competence, positively and indirectly affecting their PA and PA enjoyment.
