Description: This presentation discusses research on respiratory and cardiovascular responses in internally pipped chicken embryos. Internally pipped embryos with their incompletely divided systemic and pulmonary circuits should be able to alter blood flow through the pulmonary arteries to the lungs and ductus arteriosi to the rest of the body as environmental conditions change.
