An Analysis of the Peer Relationships of Gifted and Gifted-Creative Primary Students

Description: The purpose of this study was to compare the peer relationships of highly gifted and highly gifted-highly creative primary students in a gifted classroom of a public school. The study was conducted using thirty-one highly gifted first, second, and third graders who had scores of 140 or better on the WISC-R, WPPSI, or Otis-Lennon. A comparison of the effects of two mathematics programs upon selected fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grade remedial mathematics students

Description: The problem with which this investigation was concerned is that of determining whether remedial mathematics students who receive individualized attention in small groups with many special materials would gain more knowledge in the areas of computation, concepts, problem solving, and total composite mathematics than would remedial mathematics students taught as sub-groups of regular mathematics classes.

A Comparative Analysis of Reading Habits and Abilities of Students in Selected Elementary Schools in North Louisiana With and Without Centralized Libraries

Description: The problem addressed by this investigation is whether the provision of centralized school library services is related to the reading habits and reading abilities of elementary school children.
