Wedding shoes

Description: A & B) Wedding shoes of off-white leather. The shoes have pointed toes, and a "Mary-Jane" style strap across the instep which secures with a domed opalescent button. At throat of each shoe is a rectangular ornamental buckle covered with matching leather. The medium-high heel tapers slightly to the base and is covered with matching leather on the rounded sides and back; it has the same natural brown colored leather on the heel's curved inside and on the soles of the shoes. Cloche hat

Description: Cloche hat of blue-green velvet. An early example of the cloche hat, it has a narrow up-turned brim. All around the crown is floral decoration carried out in beading, appliqué, and embroidery with thin lines of gold thread sewn throughout. The edges of the brim are similarly decorated. Remains of silk lining. No labels. Measurements: 24 cm across at longest point; 22.5 cm across on narrow side; 15 cm high from base of brim to top of crown.

Description: Two-piece suit of beige worsted wool gabardine of tropical weight. The jacket is medium-length and semi-fitted, with a roll collar having wide pointed revers.
