Linen petticoat

Description: Combination petticoat of white linen. Arm holes and neckline trimmed in white lace with pink satin ribbon inserted around neckline. Center front of fitted bodice hand-embroidered in whitework of large bow with surrounding flowers. Dropped waist of lace with inserted pink satin ribbon. Over flounce at dropped waist of matching whitework embroidery with inserted lace "butterflies". Gathered ruffle at hem with matching lace; matching lace at hem of over flounce. Center back button closure.

Scarf

Description: Dutch scarf of hand-woven wool in lengthwise stripes of solid blue, "dashed" white, and "brickwork" black, rose and yellow. Hand-crocheted edging of white, and fringed at ends in the colors of the scarf. No labels. Measurements: 36 1/2" long x 5" wide

Tam O'Shanter purse

Description: Tam-O-Shanter style purse of faceted jet black beads with ornate circular gold colored closure. Top has open filigree work along sides with lid in rose and leave motif; mirror inside of lid. Flip clasp closure. Ball and fringe tassel of black beads on bottom. Linked chain handle. Lined in rose colored silk. Measurements: 8 cm diameter of top; 20 cm from top to bottom of bag, excluding tassel.

Purse

Description: Handbag of glass beads of boldly colored shades of green, yellow, red, blue, pink and black in a somewhat stylized floral design. Bronze frame cast with floral forms and openwork, and set with navy blue and green cabochons. Roses on frame have remains of applied coloration. Suspension chain in rope form with spaced clusters of green and blue beads. Bag has looped and twisted fringe at bottom composed of green and black faceted beads. Cloche

Description: Cloche-style hat of light green open-weave horsehair. The domed crown has extending "brim" which is very short in front, descending downwards, and longer sections at side and back, also descending downwards. Hat has a hatband of pinks and beige pleated satin ribbon which is inside crown, but visible through open weave. Ribbons emerge at back of hat, forming a bow with trailing ends. Hat is unlined, with an inner green grosgrain hatband.

Night ensemble

Description: Ensemble consisting of a nightgown and robe of cream or pale peach nylon. Full-length robe with short sleeves and limp ruff collar. Opens down center front with hook-and-eye closure at waist and attached belt. Matching full-length nightgown is sleeveless, with wide straps. Nightgown opens at side with hook-and-eye closures and has string belt. Both pieces of the ensemble are fully accordion pleated on all parts. Robe has tag "Vanity Fair Nylon"
