Measurement and Improved Understanding of Vertical Transport and the Evaluation of these Processes in Mesoscale Models

Description: The NCAR effort is primarily focused on the analysis of a diverse suite of measurements taken at the southern end of the Salt Lake City Valley within the Jordan Narrows. These measurements include wind profiler, surface, lidar, radiosonde, multi-layered tether-sonde and sodar measurements.
