Linen sunbonnet
Description:
Sunbonnet of brown linen with pasteboard staves, crenelated buttoning crown and long tail; crown and tail are separate pieces, sewn together at neck seam; tail fastens to side of brim through 3 off-white buttons on each side; shape of tail is semi-circular; chin ties are narrow hemmed by hand; fabric is a plain weave with both white and brown threads.
Measurements: 56 cm. from lowest point of tail to top of crown when laid flat; Brim is 20 cm. deep from outer edge to inner edge.
