Predicting aquatic macrophyte modeling of a new freshwater lake using remote sensing

Description: Par Pond and L Lake are reservoirs on the Savannah River Site in South Carolina. Beds of aquatic macrophytes (primarily cattail and waterlilies) exist in Par Pond and are now beginning to develop in L Lake. Locations and areas of ponds and Carolina Bays at the Savannah River Plant

Description: The Savannah River Plant has 28 ponds and 190 Carolina Bays on its 192,000-acreite. Excluding the Par Pond system, the mean pond area is 17.6 acre, with a range of 0.4 to 202.8 acres. Par Pond is the largest pond, with an area of 2500 acres. The mean Carolina Bay area is 6.6 acres, with a range of less than 0.3 to 124.0 acres. Assessment of the theory and hypotheses of the acidification of watersheds

Description: Walker Branch Watershed is located on the Oak Ridge Reservation in the Ridge and Valley section of Tennessee. Prediction of the migration of several radionuclides in ocean sediment with the computer code IONMIG: a preliminary report

Description: A computer code, IONMIG, which is used to calculate the far-field transport of radionuclides through ocean sediment by diffusion and convection is described.
