Philosophical issues concerning the rights of patients suffering serious permanent dementia

Description: This report discusses the rights of seriously and permanently demented people. Do they have the same right to autonomy, to the beneficence of their custodians, to dignity, and to a minimum level of resources as sick people of normal mental competence have? The emphasis is on extended analysis of various philosophical issues.
