Dress

Description: Dress of black double knit. Just below knee-length, with long sleeves, bodice has slight V-neckline formed by slight standing collar, which merges with pair of points at center front formed by tucked pleats. Natural waist, A-line skirt. Center back zipper closure. Bodice lined in black, sleeves and skirt unlined. No labels in dress. With black leather belt with silver colored metal buckle. Stamped on reverse: "12 Do Not / Dry Clean"

Hat

Description: Hat of red felt. The crown is of red felt, with sloping sides, and a a recessed flat top center panel. The wide brim is also of red felt, overlaid with a wide pleated band of red grosgrain ribbon which is attached by an inter-woven thin band of the red felt. The hat is unlined, with an inner red grosgrain ribbon hatband inside the base of the crown, and with a bow of red felt at the back, underside, of the brim. Tea gown

Description: Formal tea gown of green print cotton in multicolored floral print and pink satin cuffs, bodice and tucks at side. Watteau pleats down center back. Long sleeves with 6-1/2" fitted cuffs. Slightly trained. Lined in olive green polished cotton; boning at waist.

Uchikake

Description: Wedding uchikake (padded hem kimono) of ecru rinzu (silk patterned like damask) background with embroidered ume and branch (plum blossoms) designs in metallic gold and silk green, orange, and yellow threads in the foreground. Partially lined in orange silk of two different colors. Hand-sewn. Padding is found through out garment - thickest remaining layers at hem, wrist-opening of sleeve and front collar panel.
