Description: Yachting costume of blue and white cotton; three pieces: a) Jacket of blue cotton with white lining, no closure. b) Blouse of white cotton with asymmetrical red stripe from left shoulder to right hip, v-neck, star and stripe accents on red stripe. c) Culottes of blue cotton. Street length. Flapped opening is trimmed with three nonfunctioning brass buttons on each side of flap with closure of hook & eyes and snaps. Button pinned to tag of gold, stamped with braiding and anchor motif.

Pillbox Hat

Description: Hat of black organza. The hat is in the form of a pillbox designed as a turban. A wired framework is overlaid with black organza, pleated to form long folds running front to back. At the front of the hat is a large bow of the same material, the trailing pieces pleated to match the crown and affixed to run in same direction. Description: Evening dress of ecru, brown and orange rayon satin with a leaf and flower motif. Full length; sleeveless. Neckline is slightly squared in front and drops to deep cowl in back. Open-crown hat

Description: Bergère style, open-crown hat of finely woven black horsehair. Formed without a crown, the hat has a center headband of black velvet ribbon with large bow and trailing ribbons at back. From headband extends wide, floppy brim of fine black stiff mesh/net horsehair. A small plastic comb attached at front center of headband helps secure hat to wearer's head. Hat

Description: Hat of red straw. The low, flat-top crown slopes to base, swelling out to form a very narrow brim. The body of the hat is of a loose woven red straw overlaid with strips of woven red straw radiating from the top center of the crown. At the front of the hat is a dark red velvet bow.
