Adoption Promotion Legislation in the 105th Congress

Description: President Clinton signed the Adoption and Safe Families Act into law on November 19, 1997, after the House and Senate approved final versions of the legislation on November 13. "Persian Rug" Skirt

Description: "Persian Rug Skirt" with embroidery, 24 carat gold bullion threads wrapped around colored cotton threads, french knot and satin stitch embroidery, and beads in Persian motifs. Front and back with different motifs. Top of waist and hemline trimmed in twisted and looped metallic copper bullion fringe. Knee length. Left side zipper closure.
