Wall Street Banquet, Court of Fiestas, Corridor of the Agrarian Revolution
This panel of the mural depicts eight people at a dinner table. On the table is a sculpture resembling the Statue of Liberty. Behind the table appears to be a vault with a black figure holding the vault. Each of the diners holds a portion of a cash register tape that emerges from a cash register underneath glass.
Day dress
Day dress of dark blue silk crepe with red silk accents. Knee length, long sleeves, loose shift silhouette, square neckline created with triangle-shaped insert at bustline, giving the impression of a center front opening lined on both sides with mother of pearl buttons. Red silk accents as faux tie at neckline, three inserts at wide cuffs of long sleeves, and as band at hemline. No labels or makers marks. Losses throughout.
Court coat
Court coat of medium blue and off white striped silk satin with floral embroidery. Knee-length, long sleeves, high standing collar, long vent at center back. Embroidery in silk threads in shades of pink, yellow, brown, white, and green with medium and small scale floral motifs repeating at the collar, center front opening, on and around the side pocket and flaps, center back vent, and wide sleeve cuffs. Lined in off white silk. Significant damage and losses throughout, particularly at armscye and lining. No makers labels or markings.
Embroidered western shirt
Men's western-style shirt of yellow cotton gabardine twill with rhinestones and hand chenille embroidery. Embroidered designs symmetrical on either side of shirt, with dark green palm tree at chest, smile pockets with black stitching, stylized birds at mid chest, large prickly pear cactus at the natural waist, on the long sleeves saguaro cactus and wagon wheel near cuffs, and large covered wagon across upper back. Center front placket with pearl snap closure, snap closures at sleeve cuffs, relaxed fit.
Embellished cape
Cape of dense black gabardine, hip length, with hook and eye closure at the neck, short standing collar, hand beading across chest and back, with jet beads stitched in swirls across the front and in the center back and over the shoulders a net of jet beads hanging as an overlay. No markings
