Cartwright discusses her many successes as a community activist, such as her appointment to the Texas Tourist Board, Texas roads beautification, her appointment by President Harry Truman as a delegate to the White House Conference on Youth and Children, her role in the creation of a parks system in Weatherford, Texas, and several others.
