Description: Interview with Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Albin, who have been resident farmers in the town of Taft, Texas for a number of years. In the interview, the Albin's describe their observations on land speculation, settlement, and development around the rural town. They also talk about when they first moved to Taft in 1910, and what agrarian life was like until the 1930's. The Albin's discuss Mexican-Anglo relations in the community as well as the rise and impacts of the Ku Klux Klan.
