Description: Recording of Alain Basso's Meca mecanica. This work was created as part of the Bourges 2004 Synthèse Festival. This work combines two types of sounds: themes of Western music which include the flute, orchestra, violin, and barrel organ, as well as oriental themes. Description: Recording of Göran Lindsjö's Preludium and canon for bagpipe sounds. The composer has used recordings of nine tones that were produced by a bagpipe that were then transformed and assembled together to create the work. The composer notes that neither the preludium nor the canon is written in genuine folklore style, but rather the only folklore characteristic about the composition is the bagpipe sound.
