Description: "Metallika Glypta III", is the third release of a series of three works under the same title, was written in February 1972. Their processing and the final realization were made in the studio of the author. The sculpture exhibition of Loukoupoulos (1972) was the starting point of "Metallika Glypta". Amanecer

Description: Recording of José Vicente Asuar's Amanecer. “Amanecer” is formally a very simple work. Through this and other works, I try to project the possibilities of electroacoustic music in a sonorous universe where harmonic intervals prevail and a formal concept not far from impressionism. For a long time I experienced, as other composers have, new possibilities of sound and structure, matter and musical form, with electroacoustic sounds. I have not abandoned the search, but I want to choose some things… more

Amanecer

Description: Recording of José Vicente Asuar's Amanecer. Amanecer is a formally very simple work. Through this and other works the composer projects the possibilities of electroacoustic music in a sound universe where harmonic intervals and a formal conceptualization not far from impressionism prevail. The rationale behind works like Amanecer is a break on the path of a creator. From a utilitarian point of view, Amanecer is intended as music for Ballet, as an introduction to some more breathtaking work that… more

Solipsismo

Description: Recording of Bruno D'Auzon's Solipsismo. This work combines a finished text (in Portuguese) and its relation to a musical context. The composer has tried to combine the movement between sounds and speech, a poetic language without concern for meaning and in which sound objects or musical phrases may more easily support a concept or an image than words. The piece is divided into five parts, with the middle part playing a relaxing role where the theme is no longer human language.

Senza Voci 2

Description: Recording of Guido Baggiani's Senza Voci 2. This work is a piece in three parts. From a base material consisting of four sine waves, three groups of sine waves were derived. The frequency spectrum results from a process of amplitude modulation. There are two different levels of the same process. First level: frequencies belonging to the same group modulate each other. Such reports generate, for each group, four different "Group States". Second level: frequencies belonging to one group modulate … more
