Three raked rows of five men are sitting behind music stands while wielding a variety of (mostly brass) instruments. Behind the furthest and highest row, one man plays a double bass while another sits at a drum set. On the floor to the left, a man sits at a piano and another man stands behind him. Both of these men are turned away from the camera. At the edge of the stage on the right stands three microphones. Two lists of the performers and their instruments have been handwritten onto the bottom and back of the photo.
