Description: Recording of Lelio Camilleri's Dedicated to you but you aren't listening. The basic material of the piece is made up of drum sounds (cymbals and snare drums) and the voice and sounds of the song by Soft Machine "Dedicated to you but you weren't listening". The attention has been focused on a few very short excerpts of the song that have been modified, but that conserve their melodic shape. The piece is structured into four parts and uses a S-550 Roland sampler.

Description: Recording of Lelio Camilleri's Memory Lane. The piece is based on an improvisation on Caravan's piece "Memory Lain, Hugh". The sound gesture have several characteristics: energetic, circular movement, and rich spectrum. The sound has been processed in order to obtain sound gestures of different shapes. Description: Recording of Bruno Capelle's Gabrakan. This piece is built on the principle of false periodicity. It is a rhythmic or even polyrhythmic work. Formulas are gradually being built, robbing those that preceded them and which will in turn be destroyed. The clear polyrhythm is due to the differentiation of the timbres of the morphologies used. The general shape of this piece can be summed up as a “great” tension - relaxation.

Droptrap

Description: Recording of Werner Cee's Droptrap. The sounds used in the piece are exclusively produced by the composer's instrument for six water drops. This music has been recorded directly onto a DAT. Every object is provided with a contact microphone, thus enabling amplification of the noises produced by the drops. These are transmitted to a sound mixer and then to four signal processors.

A succession of events, have given shape to these 'partial memories', which the title translates to memories. Description: Recording of Paul Dolden's L'ivresse de la vitesse. This begins very dynamically with dense electronic sounds, a chorus, and instruments. Use of texture is crucial within this work. There are moments where the chorus is singing complex harmonies and the electronic sound are very dense; or times when there is very transparent texture and the sounds are isolated. This work explores sound, space, and dramatic musical change by combining electro-acoustic technique and acoustic instruments.
