Cantos de antes

Description: Recording of Beatriz Ferreyra's Cantos de antes. This work was commissioned by the Association pour la recherche et l'Expérimentation Musicale and is dedicated to Simone Rist and Roger Cochini. This piece was created from transformed texts performed by Simone Rist, the voice of Roger Cochini, and other electroacoustic sounds. The composer states that this piece speaks to very old stories lost thousands of years ago.

Sons et Tintamarre (jeunesse)

Description: Recording of Roxanne Turcotte's Sons et Tintamarre (jeunesse). This is a work for electronic keyboard and tape that was intended for children and was created with animation, staging, and scenography. The work depicts a story of the progress of an electroacoustic work in the workshop of the composer. The composer thanks their daughter, Fannie, as their inspiration as well as her friends from daycare. The recording includes 5 untitled movements.
