Progress Report : Low Geometry Alpha Particle Ionization Chambers

Description: ABSTRACT. When solutions of high specific alpha activity are to be assayed for product, it is often difficult to obtain reproducible results by diluting the solution sufficiently to remove a small volume from which a sample can be prepared and counted at 52% geometry. Description: Abstract: A TEC regulator amplifier driving an Eaterline-Angus recording meter was used to record magnet current variations. Tests were made to determine magnet current variations. Methyl Methacrylate Casting Resin

Description: Abstract: "This report describes work done to improve the casting characteristics of methyl methacrylete resin under CMR-6-18 authorization. The experimental program was initiated with the objectives of decreasing casting time, bubble formation and shrinkage.
