Strontium Sorption Studies on Crandallite

Description: Abstract: "Crandallite ores may be useful in the treatment of nuclear waste solutions because of their reactivity with strontium in weakly acid solutions and in alkaline solutions containing aluminum. The exchange capacity of the crandallite samples studies is not very high, being 6-10 miliequivalents of strontium and 2 milliequivalents of cesium per 100 grams of active phosphatic material.
