Gold Beaded Dress

Description: Dress of silver gray and gold silk and gold beads; empire waist; sleeveless; rounded V-neckline which dips low in back; snap closure on left side; bodice is silver gray with gold beads in floral motif; skirt is gold with a gold and silver belt that angles down in front; skirt has the appearance of two tiers made by folding the skirt up under itself around the knees.

Description: Ladies' handkerchief. Square of pale green fabric with shaped outer edge machine embroidered with off-white. One corner with white embroidered floral and scroll motif in same off-white thread. No labels or tags. Approx. 9 3/4" square.

Description: Hat of sequins and feathers. Styled somewhat as a bowler, the base of the hat is of a stiffened net, the oval, low crown domed and covered with layered, curved strings of black sequins. The brim is of the same construction, turned slightly down, and with a slight "wave" along the sides and back. At side is a large pouf of gray/black ostrich feathers. Description: Hat of red felt and white yarn. The hat is formed of strips of red felt sewn together and top-stitched with white yarn.
