Description: Mitts of ecru knitted silk. Below wrist-length. Thin openwork band along upper edge of fingerless section and of upper edge of the half-thumb. From base of palm to lower edge are bands of openwork borders, and a wide band of "checkerboard" openwork.

Pandharpuri Tambura

Description: The long-necked instrument has four pegs and four strings. The gourd body is decorated with polychrome figures and animals. The entire outer edge of the instrument is decorated with a geometric design.

Plucking the Pigeon

Description: The painting depicts a woman plucking the feathers from a small bird. On the table in front of her are other animals, a rabbit, more fowl, and a turkey. On the wall next to the woman are butchered meats and sausages alongside some metal chargers. Some celery and greens as well as a tall teapot sit among the dead animals on the table.

Spectacles

Description: Pair of folding glasses. Silver mounted glasses with small oval lenses. Earpieces fold via a swivel rivet and terminate in tear-drop-shaped loop. No marks. Loose lens wrapped with spectacles. Measurements: 4 1/2" wide x 1" high; earpieces 6" long extended, 4" long folded.
