Description: Change purse of tortoise shell with mother-of-pearl inlay. Oval shape; palm-size. Brass frame; hinged opening. Teal silk lining; four inner pockets, one with slide closure. In alligator box. Frame of interior closed pocket stamped "Revlie / S. G. O. C." (difficult to read). Measurements: 8.5 cm x 5.5 cm

Chatelaine

Description: Chatelaine of simulated tortoiseshell. Pendant trimmed in anchor, heart and cross design with hanging chains and diamond-shaped center from which hangs two bell-shaped dangles and center hook. Hinged brass hook for attaching to waistband.

Description: Chemise of white cotton. Below-knee length. Wide rounded neckline edged with bobbin lace. Very short sleeves edged with same lace. Upper part of neckline and sleeves with white bands embroidered with white floral motifs and ribbons, alternating with bands of inset lace. No labels in garment.

Description: Child's dress of taupe cotton/silk trimmed in turquoise silk. Flair silhouette with dropped, pleated waist having hip belt effect, and pleats at hem and down center front. Center back opening with 7 turquoise silk covered buttons and tailored buttonholes. Short sleeves with lace at hem. Squared neckline. Lined in brown mercerized cotton.

Description: Chemise of white cotton batiste with lace bib insert of lightweight cotton and floral whitework (reminiscent of a handkerchief) surrounded by lace inserts following shape of bust, round neckline trimmed in lace with pink ribbon gathering volume, sleeveless, knee-length.

Cotton flannel petticoat

Description: Petticoat of off-white cotton flannel; tape tie center back closure. Waist has 4" fitted yoke with back gathers below yoke. 10" flounce at hem with three rows of cotton lace at hem. 84" (106.7 cm) around hem. Length: 32" (81.3 cm)

Description: Hand sewn long Chinese court robe in unlined brown silk embroidered with geometric designs and gold dragons. Fitted sleeves end in rounded. flared cuffs. Left front to right side closure with loop and round. patterned. gold colored metal buttons.

Description: Chinese floor-length vest made in the same style as a court robe but sleeveless. Mandarin collar. Body of vest is brocaded silk. Trim and collar contain much and fine silk hand embroidered design motifs.

Description: Cage crinoline of woven metal wire with vertical cotton twill tape supports. Cotton tape waistband with adjustable ornate brass latch closure. Description: Ensemble of green and blue plaid cotton with collar and buttons of navy blue velvet. Ensemble consists of: A) Bodice. Fan

Description: Folding fan. Guards and sticks of lightly carved ivory (bone?) with scrolling foliate designs. The leaf is of white lace. Sticks are unadorned on the reverse. No visible labels, marks or signatures. Fan has alternately been identified as Irish lace or machine-made lace, and dated 1830's or 1880-1899.

Folding fan

Description: Folding fan. Guards and sticks of carved and pierced ivory (bone?) with a foliage designs. The white sheer doubled organdy leaf is hand-painted with central vignette of a garden scene of a couple greeting a woman seated on a bench. The leaf with added hand-panted border of a garland of flowers. Reverse is unadorned. No visible labels, marks or signatures.

Description: Hat of green felt in the style of a tricorne or cocked hat. Trimmed with green silk roses, brown feathers, a brass buckle on right side and bow on back. Lined in black with central "drawstring".

Description: Infant's dress of fine batiste cotton with broderie anglaise. Yoke has attached 4"ruffle of broderie anglaise with insertion lace and pink satin ribbon. Long sleeves have insertion lace cuffs and pink satin ribbon. Full length. No labels in garment.
