Description: Hat of purple felt. The hat is visually similar to a toque, but is designed with a domed crown and a brim that turns upwards vertically, forming a high band around the crown. Around the crown is a band of purple ribbon. The hat is unlined, with a black grosgrain ribbon inner hatband. Designer's label: "Adolfo II / New York Paris" Stamped inside: "100% Wool / 'Excello' / Made in U.S.A. / Geo. W. Bollman & Co., Inc."

Description: Hat of ivory fur felt. High, cylindrical crown is slightly peaked at front and rounded at back, with flat top having sunken central area. Base of crown encircled by wide ivory grosgrain ribbon hatband with applied "D" shaped gilt metal rhinestone set buckle form, from which extends ends of ribbon. Narrow brim slants downwards, and is slightly wider in front than back. Hat is unlined, with inner ivory grosgrain ribbon hatband. Designer's label on inner hatband: "Betmar" Maker's stamp inside crown: "Merrimac / Merri Soie"(?)

Description: Hat of jersey and multicolored yarn. The hat is styled to resemble of turban, with central cylindrical white jersey(?) crown, the sides of which are overlaid with interlaced bands of yellow/brown, blue/gray, red, and white yarn with thin bands of gold ribbon. Lined in white satin, with inner off-white grosgrain ribbon inner hatband. Designer's label on inner hatband: " 'Dachettes' / Designed by Lilly Daché " Label for United Hatters Cap & Millinery Workers at inside hatband.

Description: Hat of brown fur and leather. The cylindrical light brown leather crown is encircled by large open circular band of brown fur (mink?) oriented to create diagonal stripes. At base of crown is band of same leather, tied into flat bow at back with trailing ends. Lined in reddish/brown lace, and with two small combs to secure to wearer's head. No labels in hat.

Description: Hat of gray felt with gray beads and silver sequins. The cylindrical crown flares from lower edge to upper, and has a low domed, set in top. The surface of the hat is covered in curving, meandering lines of gray beads, enhanced by double-bands of silver sequins which form "zig-zag" motifs on sides, and around dome of crown. Front and sides of hat overlaid with short length of light gray net veil. Hat is unlined, with gray grosgrain ribbon inner hatband. No labels in hat.

Description: Hat of ultra marine blue velvet. The brimless hat has a somewhat domed under-structure which is overlaid and draped with velvet of ultramarine blue, giving it a turban-like or head-wrap like appearance, with irregular folds and planes. Large swath of fabric extends from front of top, back to loop almost under at back. The hat is lined in a peach/pale orange silk(?), and has an inner blue grosgrain ribbon hatband. No labels in hat.
