The brim is overlaid with a wider second brim of net and wire. Brim is off-center, wider at front of hat than back. Around base of crown is a band of black cording, tied into a bow at back and with trailing ends. The inside base of the crown is lined with black grosgrain ribbon. One pin with black head is with hat to secure it. Label sewn into inner band: "Sally Victor / 18 East 53rd St." A second label with handwritten number "1655" is sewn in near designer's label.

Ceremonial/Cofradia (religious society) Huipil. 2 breadth garment back strap loomed in cotton with cotton and silk single-faced brocaded designs - broad and widely spaced red warp stripes amid very wide areas of ixcaco (natural brown cotton) - no trim at neck or sleeves.

Ceremonial Skirt of ochre-orange cotton with purple stripes and metallic thread. One piece of fabric sew into a floor-length tube, with tripes running horizontally. Textile created on a backstrap loom, design motifs hand embroidered with couched metallic threads, with decorative band of densely-embroidered geometric motifs at the bottom hem.

Chakra (hanging panel for a shrine or altar in homes) with Kutch embroidery. Square panel with radial, square design balanced from center. Center panel is nine squares bordered in geometric embroidery, with each square containing nine mica mirrors attached with buttonhole stitches around edges. Center panel surrounded by border with linear pattern, then border with double helix pattern, then wider band with floral motifs with mica mirrors at center. Outside that band is another border of double helix pattern, a wider band of roundels with sun pattern and mica mirrors at center, and outside border of double helix. Back lined in undyed muslin, with many stitches showing through.

A) Blouse of soft blue denim. Styled as a vest, the blouse is of pale blue, very soft denim. No sleeves, center front opening with 4 circular buttons resembling obsidian (silvery to black as light changes). At each side the side seams overlap and are open from hem partway up blouse to allow access to under layers which contain slit pockets. Blouse is lined with white fabric printed with all-over repeat of Mr John signature/logo. No other label in blouse. B) Matching belt of same fabric. Designed as an exaggerated cummerbund, widening at center and narrowing to long straps at ends. Center section with row of 17 large circular brass/gilt metal grommets. Man's chauffeur's uniform greatcoat of black wool with black astrakhan (3 day old lamb) fur collar. The full-length overcoat is double-breasted, with long sleeves and a flap pocket at each hip. Center back opening with snap closure; snaps missing. Unlined. B) Slip of white batiste cotton. Sleeveless with wide rounded neckline; bordered in tatted lace. Bodice embroidered in floral pattern with embroidered bow at the center. Gathered waist. Skirt with tucks and insert of tatted lace and tatted lace at hem. Center back closure of four mother-of-pearl buttons and button at each shoulder (buttons at shoulders missing).

Child's dress of black & tan woven cotton check/plaid. Full-length, with high, rounded collar. Set in black taffeta full-length sleeves with wide cuffs of the black/tan check, secured with two mother of pearl buttons each. Natural waist. Hem with wide band of ruffled black taffeta and a plain band of black taffeta running slightly above hem. Patch pocket at right hip composed of plaid panels formed as a "vest", with black taffeta ruffle filling in center, and three non-functioning circular mother of pearl buttons on slight curve following edge of "vest" front non-functioning opening. Center back opening with 9 circular mother of pearl buttons and hook & loop at neckline.
