Dress of polychrome cotton print. The floor-length dress is of cotton fabric with a raised "zig-zag" texture, in the style of cotton piqué weaving. It is printed with a series of horizontal bands in geometric designs in blues, reds, greens, tan/brown, orange, and purple. The sleeveless dress has a shallow boat neckline in front and deep squared-off neckline at back. The fitted bodice section ends at the natural waist, into which the long skirt is slightly gathered. The front of the skirt has two patch pockets of the same material, with the print matched to disguise the pockets. One of the lower bands of the skirt is embellished with applied non-functional circular gold-colored "buttons". The hem of the dress has a 7 cm. wide band horizontal band of red wool trim, from which hangs red wool fringe. The center back zipper closure has a single hook-and-eye at top. The dress is lined in red fabric. The dress has two labels sewn inside. At left side at seam is designer's label "Lanvin / Paris New York"; at right side near zipper is size label "6".

Dress and coat of peacock feathers. The short, sleeveless dress is entirely covered with peacock breast feathers, accented with a 1" band of blue cording and chenille trim at neckline and with blue cord spaghetti straps. It is fully lined with navy polyester. The long, sleeveless coat is covered with peacock herl / flue feathers. It has a round neckline, and no closure. These pieces are part of a larger ensemble, consisting of a total of 9 pieces decorated with peacock and/or golden pheasant feathers. Worn to the Emmy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles, California, April 1976.

Suit in hot pink nubbly wool knit. The ensemble consists of three pieces: a jacket, matching skirt, and black silk shell. The jacket is hip-length, with a shawl collar which has an attached black silk tie. The center front closure has 6 circular brass buttons with central embossed lion's heads and black outer edges. There are four faux flap pockets at front, two on each side of opening, each with button matching those of the closure. The long sleeves have simulated closure, with a line of three buttons matching others on each sleeve. The pocket flaps, cuffs, collar, center front, and hem are all edged in black. Designer's label sewn inside jacket at collar: "Adolfo / New York", with retailer's label sewn in just below: "Neiman-Marcus". The matching skirt is below-knee length, of the same pink wool knit, with pleating beginning 7" below waistband and extending to hem. Skirt has designer's label sewn inside at waistband as jacket. The accompanying black silk blouse is sleeveless, with rounded neckline. Single black silk -covered button closure at back of neck. Shell has designer's label sewn inside at left of closure as jacket.

Visor cap of medium brown plastic. The open crown consists of a vertical band which runs around front and sides, with brown and white elastic band across back. Printed at front center of crown is the Neiman-Marcus logo. The wide front visor is printed with three rows of scattered white squares.

Dress of navy blue silk chiffon. The full-length dress is sleeveless, with narrow straps extending across shoulders and meeting at center of the 2 1/2" wide A-line band at neckline. The straps and neckline band are covered with faux jewels. From the band drops the long A-line skirt of finely-pleated silk chiffon, which conceals a narrow sheath dress underneath. This dress is similar in style to one produced for Halley's 1967 collection.

Ensemble. A) Coat of brown and white felted wool. Knee-length or longer, long set-in sleeves. Center front opening with 5 large circular brown plastic buttons with bound buttonholes. Main body of coat of pale brown and white check design, with cuffs, collar, and lower band of coat (about hips to hem) of light brown. Light brown and white check self tie belt. Side slit pockets. Lined in pale taupe. Designer's label at center back neckline: "Norell" Hand-written label just above designer's label: "Deborah 929" B) Blouse of cream wool jersey. Long sleeves, high standing collar. Center back zipper closure running almost entire length of garment, from top of collar to about 3" above hem. Hook & eye at top of collar. Collar lined in satin, the rest of the blouse is unlined. Not hemmed. Hand-written label sewn in at neckline: "Deborah 929" C) Skirt of brown wool tweed. Mid-length; slight A-line. Narrow, 1-1/2" waistband. Fully lined in brown silk(?). Center back zipper closure with large hook & eye on waistband. Hand-written label "Deborah 1929". D) Belt of brown leather with wide square, self-covered buckle. Two inches wide. Belt is attached to skirt with inner bands of leather to which loops from the skirt are sewn. Stamped on reverse: "26 Norman Norell 3736".

Purse of brown and tan woven burlap-type fabric and brown leather. Rectangular, with rounded bottom and edges. Sides of fabric, end panels of leather, with leather handles and trim with brass hardware. Closure is a 1" inch leather strap with "door knocker" type fixture with a turn key closure. One zippered pocket interior center creates three distinct compartments. Designer's stamp on interior zippered pocket: "Etienne Aigner / Hand Made"

Clutch handbag of patent leather in small oval shape. Gold tone closure of three rings in bamboo pattern. Tuckable gold herringbone chain; 1/4" strap 30"long. Three interior compartments with black faille lining; 2 inner pocket, 1 with gold faille lining. Designer's stamp: "M M / Morris Moskowitz" Original maker's card in small black compartment; side 1: "M M / Morris Moskowitz"; side 2: This / Handbag is Made / Of Man Made / Materials" Measurements: 22cm L, 16cm H (with closure), 3cm W

Evening dress of off-white Qiana knit in mermaid style covered in flat gold sequins. 1" stand up band collar. Long sleeves with zippers at wrists. Center back zipper with hook & eye. 1-1/2" waistband with slightly flared skirt. Unlined. Combined designer/retailer label on inside seam near hem: "Norman Norell for I. Magnin & Co."

Dress of black silk.

Coat dress of brocade printed with yellow, orange, and purple flowers having pink centers on a navy blue/black/dark purple ground with metallic thread throughout. Mandarin collar, short set-in sleeves. Buttons all the way down center front with self covered buttons and loops. Full length pleated skirt with shaped hemline. Lined in black poly, and the fabric is lined in black interfacing. Designer's label at center back: "Chester Weinberg". Retailer's label inside near back bottom hemline: "Neiman-Marcus"

Day dress of navy blue Alaskine silk. Jewel neckline; knee length. Bracelet length set-in sleeves with four self-covered buttons at hem. Empire waistline accented with 3-1/2" attached belt of self and large bow of self to left of center. Side slit pockets. Center back zipper with hook & eye. Lined in black organdy. Cocktail dress of fuchsia pink silk chiffon. Knee-length, princess-line sheath with moderate scooped neckline and short sleeves. The set-in sleeves are attached to a U-shaped armseye opening set below a dropped shoulder line. The short sleeves are horizontally pleated in five tiers with each pleat slightly wider than the one above it. Two pleats fall from off the left front neckline to mid-thigh. Asymmetrical waistband curving up over the left hip. Chiffon overskirt falling from the waistband. The overskirt has an asymmetrical hem that curves upward around the left side. The overskirt's hem is embellished with four wide horizontal pleats. The bodice pleat detail becomes a separate pleated panel as it falls from the waistband to the overskirt's hem. It is caught up into the hem. Knee-length underskirt of fuchsia silk chiffon. Center back zipper bodice closure from the neck to the hip line with a single hook&eye at the neckline. Piece lined in fuchsia pink silk satin. Right side seam slit in underskirt about 6 inches. Label located inside center back beside the zipper. The zipper is faced with fuchsia pink chiffon. Designer label left of zipper: "By / Lilli Wolff / Dallas, Texas"

The dress has an attached wide red wool knit belt/sash which ties at waist in front. The dress is fully lined in dark navy blue silk. Dress of navy blue wool knit. The mid-length dress has a contrasting red wool knit mandarin collar and long sleeves with red wool knit cuffs. Mandarin collar is stitched down at ends. There are two large patch pockets at front, and a center front closure with twelve circular mother-of-pearl buttons mounted with gold-colored metal rims. The buttonholes are bound with the contrasting red wool knit. The dress has an attached wide red wool knit belt/sash which ties at waist in front. Fully lined in dark navy blue silk. Long sleeves, two slit pockets at front hips, attached belt across small of back of same fur, and back vent. Double-breasted, with six large brown leather buttons in 3 pairs, which fasten to loops. Collar of fox fur. Fully lined in gray. Inside breast pocket on left. Leather label inside: "Made in Canada"; Printed style/size label, illegible notes.

A) Evening dress of gray silk chiffon with print of Mount Fuji scene at bottom of dress with yellow and white blossoms on upper portion accented with Japanese writing in red rectangular boxes. "Hanae Mori" signature in print. Under layer of black chiffon. High rounded neckline. Full length, straight silhouette. Long sleeves are open under arms and are formed from rectangular panels which drape like kimono sleeves for full length of dress. Center back zipper closure with hook & eye on lining; covered snaps on black chiffon and gray chiffon layers with hook & eye joining the layers at neckline. Lined in gray rayon. Designer's label at back neckline: "Hanae Mori / [Japanese characters]" Size 14 tag attached to base of designer label. Content/care label on black chiffon layer at back neckline. Length of Handwoven Fabric. Two breadth garment handwoven in cotton on the backstrap loom. Natural brown cotton with white cotton stripes - warp faced weave. The 2 panels are joined with machine stitching and the ends have machine stitched hems. One panel is slightly longer (2 3/8") than the other.

Maternity dress of printed cotton blend(?) in pattern of geometric shapes in orange, green and red on pink background with "scratches" of dark pink and magenta. Knee length with wide rounded neckline faced in olive green linen. Elbow length sleeves have 3" bell shaped cuffs backed in olive green linen. Center back zipper closure; unlined. Designer's label at back neckline: "Page Boy / Dallas" Size "6" tag at hemline (faded).

Wedding dress of white chiffon(?), tulle, and lace. A) Dress. Full-length, full skirt. Empire waist. Long sleeves, with 3" lace cuffs and lace ruffle and two bands of matching lace running length of sleeve. Lace ruffle around shoulder. Square neckline, filled in with lace, which rises to form high standing collar with ruffle. Band of lace at waist and two bands down front. Cathedral train with two tiers of self at lower part of skirt, edged in lace. Lapped center back zipper. Attached slip of ivory synthetic, and very full layer of tulle. Tiers also with under layer of tulle. Union Label Not pictured - B) Headpiece/veil. Rigid cylindrical headpiece of stiffened, wired lace, the sides of which extend down in points, from the crown of which spring 3 layers of white tulle, the shortest (shoulder length) and middle (calf-length) layers edged with lace to match dress, the longest (trailing behind) with plain edge.

Bolero jacket of black suede. Accordion sleeves. Asymmetric front opening is slightly curved with five self-covered black buttons for closure and peaked right hem. Wide collar becomes standing when closed with self-covered snap. Pointed at center back hem. Lined in black acetate. Designer label: Allison Gouland / Paris
