Description: Tricorne of light green straw, black and orange velvet. The hat is designed as a traditional tricorne, or "three-cornered-hat", with a low cylindrical crown of green straw, slightly domed. The wide brim of green straw curls up on three sides, and has cut-back arches at corners. Description: Man's coat of raccoon fur. Full length, with shawl collar. Two outer pockets trimmed with raccoon tails. Double-breasted center front opening with 8 round 1 1/2" leather covered buttons with loop closures. Long sleeves, with inner ribbed knit(?) cuffs. 51" from center back neckline to hem line. Upper lining of brown silk (?), and lower section lined with plaid wool. Inner pocket on left side. No labels in garment. Name inked inside inner pocket: "Ellison"

Embroidery of pink, yellow, and green thread around neckline and back opening. Armholes also have yellow lace and same embroidery as neckline. Embroidery work down center front of blue, pink, fuchsia, and gold French knot embroidered flowers with green stems and daisy stitched leaves. Three tucks under each armhole. Snap at back opening. Hem has been released.
