Description: Child's sailor dress of white jacquard cotton. Long sleeves with broderie anglaise lace at hem. Sailor collar with V-shaped yoke insert which wraps around left shoulder; standing neckline of lace matching sleeve hem and insert on sailor collar. Center front placket has left side opening with button closure (all buttons missing). Belt loops at sides (belt missing). Unlined.

Picture Hat

Description: Picture hat of finely woven black straw. The low, domed crown is encircled at its base by a narrow ribbon of black velvet onto which are sewn along front and sides 10 oval, black plastic (?) buttons. The ribbon is tied at back of crown, with bow and trailing ends. The wide brim extends out and slopes/curves down slightly. The hat is unlined, with inner black headband and a cord to help secure to wearer's head.

Description: Ladies' handkerchief of cream-colored silk with hand-painted pink floral detail in right corner. Floral design accented with graduated sprays of dots with pink centers. Circular corner cutouts and scalloped corner at floral design. Edge of handkerchief and decoration outlined in gold glitter paint. Measures 8.5" x 8.5"

Description: Scarf of black (silk?) satin. Long, narrow rectangle of black satin, the two short ends with multicolored embroidery of floral and foliate forms. Each short end with long fringe of same colors as embroidery. Measurements: 252 cm. long 29 cm wide 21cm long fringe

Illuminated Sign "Bayer Aspirin" in Central Osaka

Description: The vertically oriented postcard depicts a neon Bayer Aspirin sign above a building with a silhouette of people below. The sky is dark and the only illumination is the sign and the interior of the building. A few stars twinkle in the sky and some Japanese text runs along the bottom.

Description: Baby girl's white batiste cotton dress with lace and squared drawn work at the pin tucked neckline. Matching lace and drawn work at the cuff of the short puffed sleeves. Double row of squared drawn work around hem. Center back closure of three tiny mother-of-pearl buttons and loops. Cloth tape with blue script embroidered name: "Barbara Howell", for whom it was made.

Reticule purse

Description: Drawstring reticule of blue silk covered with strings of cobalt glass beads with five tiers of ultramarine bead loops. Beaded tassel at bottom consisting of sphere of ultramarine beads and tassel of cobalt blue bead loops. Opening of bag edged in purple silk and lined in blue silk. Opening with doubled blue cord through five small rings of blue painted wood(?). Tag inside bag: Made in / Czecho Slovakia

Sequin dress

Description: Dress of peach net covered in iridescent sequins. Wide, deep V-neckline with thick straps. Sleeveless. Scalloped hem, edges trimmed with rose colored glass beads. Sequins follow a sweeping, zigzag and scallop pattern all over the dress. Label at top of back neckline: "Hand Made in / Paris, France"

Single handle has detached and is stored inside purse. Lined in brown leather with two patch pockets.
