Filigree snap closure has large, circular green cabochon. Fringe of self with ends finished in clusters of 3 brass beads. Double chain handle can be worn as single to extend handle longer.

Hat

Description: Hat of ivory/ecru panne velvet, black fur, ivory lace, and a black plume. The crown is of low, crushed ivory or ecrue panne velvet, with a lower border of black fur. The wide brim had an inner wire framework covered with ivory lace, edged with the same black fur. Extending from lower edge of crown at side to off of the edge of the brim is a large black plume. Description: Purse of silver mesh in square shape with triangle mesh fringe and alternating dangles of teardrops and spheres. Square metal frame with etching on one side. Single handle of oval chain links. Ball twist closure. Interior of frame stamped "GERMAN SILVER" Measurements: 14 cm x 14 cm excluding frame and fringe.

Description: Purse. Ornate bell-shaped silver (plated?) frame with openwork latticework set with red and blue cabochons and with silver (plated?) chain. Body of purse is of crocheted gray with vertical stripes of horizontal rows of faceted blue beads. Bottom of bag with fringe formed of loops of matching beading. Lined in gray satin with roses and vine trim.

El Sah Mesh Handbag

Description: Handbag. Arched frame of silver (plated?), lightly chased and engraved. Openwork areas on sides of frame allow rings from suspension chain to slide up and down acting as "locks". Mesh bag with enameled design of flowers. Inside bag are makers tag marked: "Mesh / Whiting & Davis Co. / Bags / Reg. U.S. & Can." and brand tag marked "El Sah".

Child's Coat

Description: Child's coat of off-white cotton faille with box pleats front and back; one each at shoulder and one down the middle of both back and front. Front opening to waist of four small white mother-of-pearl buttons and two snaps at neckline, covered by pleat. Sailor collar embroidered with simple flower and vine pattern and embroidered scalloped edges. Long sleeves have the same treatment for 3" cuffs. Dropped waist with belt loops (belt missing).

Reticule

Description: Reticule of blue stain with purple ribbon drawstring closure. Velvet diamond on front with beadwork pattern of a basket of flowers. Six bead covered spheres dangle from bottom (two missing). Bottom of bag tapers to a triangular point at the bottom. Two missing bead covered spheres are inside the bag. Measurements: 25 cm from top of the bag to bottom; 17 cm across measured from right before the bag begins to taper.

Description: Underslip of ivory cotton tulle with full, ruffled skirt and camisole top. White embroidered net underslip of two layers of net gathered below hip line with band of net. Rows of cording and bands of insertion. Fastened at natural waist to camisole top, altered at waist, ankle length. Trimmed with lace ribbon. Size 12

Satin wedding shoes

Description: Pair of ladies' off-white or cream heavy satin wedding shoes. Designed with rounded toes, the slip-in shoes had an embellishment across vamp of an applied white satin bow or pouch. One survives in part. Lined in white fabric. Sole of natural brown leather, heel covered in white satin. Medium-height heel with rounded sides and back, curving inwards and then straight down to base, similar to a modern continental heel.

Leather boots

Description: Pair of boots or "High Button Shoes" of brown leather. The shoes, designed with pointed toes rounded at the tips, lace closed along center front with laces 16 holes high. The medium height, stacked heels are rounded at sides and back, and are curved at front, tapering slightly to ground. The sole is of tan leather. The shoes are lined in off-white cloth. Description: Pair of shoes of red silk satin. Designed with a rounded toe and three straps across vamp which lace with red silk cord. Toebox with floral embroidery in red, and with decorative twisted fabric band across top of toebox. Edges of upper and straps edged off-white leather(?) 2" high modified Louis heel, rounded at sides and back, flaring slightly to base. Mostly illegible stamp inside.

Description: Walking shoes of tan and black leather. The rounded toe and vamp are of black polished leather, the heel and sides of tan kid leather.
