Hat has a close fitting cap-like shape with 2 triangular wing-like extensions extending up from each side. Description: Tricorne of light green straw, black and orange velvet. The hat is designed as a traditional tricorne, or "three-cornered-hat", with a low cylindrical crown of green straw, slightly domed. The wide brim of green straw curls up on three sides, and has cut-back arches at corners. The underside/facing of the brim is lined with black velvet, and edged with a thin band of orange velvet, which is tied in a bow at center top edge of one side. Crown is unlined, but has inner hatband of a striped/plaid fabric. Designer's label inside: "Original / Ruby Ross / California"

Description: Pair of ladies' gloves. The "hands" are of pale brown with white fabric, possibly a silk/cotton blend. Seamed on inside, they have 3 darts on back of each hand done with dark brown stitching. At wrist on each side is a v-shaped extension which joins to the "cuff", which is of light brown cotton with yellow tones. The scalloped edges of the "cuff" and semi-circular sections on the back of each are piped in dark brown fabric. The "cuffs" are styled as a wrap dress, with an overlap at back of wrist. The overlap has a single cylindrical button of black plastic designed to appear carved with three notches in the side revealing pale green/yellow below and at ends. Manufacturer's tag inside gloves: "Kayser, 52 * Reg / Made in Germany / 6"; Stamped in lining by tag: "Kayser 52". The domed crown has extending "brim" which is very short in front, descending downwards, and longer sections at side and back, also descending downwards. Hat has a hatband of pinks and beige pleated satin ribbon which is inside crown, but visible through open weave. Ribbons emerge at back of hat, forming a bow with trailing ends.
