Depth is achieved by the diminishing scale of purple wavy lines atop green straight verticals. Floating to the right is a multi-shade brown frame, again with the illusion of depth and inside is a masked face.
Underlying horizontal dyed silk with depictions of rolling waves receding into the distance with bird-like ribbons above and in the foreground a framed section of the sea at opposing angle.
Wavy ribbons recede into the distance which is encased in a framed gradation of color and in the background a circular opening through which the ribbons reach.
The horizontally oriented surface designed textile art includes depictions of pink ribbons rippling through the sky into the distant background. At the lower edge is seen a silhouette of a mountainous horizon.
The horizontal predominately blue and muted gray fabric artwork includes shiny circles, squares with horizons, and groups of parallel lines that float through the space of the artwork.
This fabric artwork contains a large multi-color V shape with a pink ribbon floating across and behind. A shiny pink round shape floats behind the V shape and three square frames, two in the foreground and one in the background, create depth.
The red horizontal fabric artwork includes several vertical parallel lines with a ribbon floating behind to create depth. Lines and textures reminiscent of moss hanging from tree branches fill the left and lower portions of the work.
The artwork consists of twelve panels in varying hues of pinks, blues, browns with some angular textured lines resembling furrows and some blue lines resembling water run through and across the panels.
Many layers of handmade papers create depth along with the horizontal frames and cloud formations in the sky. In the center of the artwork are two collaged depictions of a red beach chair.

The bodice piece lined with gold chiffon. Waist stay of gold silk. Bust pads. The skirt is self lined with a rolled and poufed hem. Cocktail dress of black silk gazar. The halter-style neckline of the dress ends in straps at center back of the fitted, dropped-waist bodice. The skirt is a semi-full, gathered, mid-thigh length. There is a boned inner bodice of black silk tulle with bust pads, grosgrain bust and waist stays fastening with hooks-and-eyes, an elaborate closure involving halter drape and inner and outer zippers down the left sideseam and five snaps that secure the halter panel and disguise the zipper. Fully lined in black chiffon.
Wedding dress of hot pink net with shirred all-over appliques and rhinestones. Dress is a short sheath style with V-neck and long sleeves with full length train in back with pink satin bustle with pink silk flowers. Has a matching headpiece with hot pink net veil, not photographed.
Skirt suit of brown wool. A) Jacket, Lower-hip length, collarless, and with 3 button-and-loop closures at center-front. Long sleeves with slit and single button closure at wrists. Welt pockets at hips, and princess seams. Inner shoulder pads, and brown polyester lining. B) Matching short skirt, with 1” waistband. Button tab and side zip closure. Ensemble of rose silk. The suit consists of a jacket, two skirts and a blouse. The jacket is made from a 1930's sari of pale pink silk embroidered with gold and silver threads, beads, and pink sequins in designs of vines, flowers and abstract line patterns. Jacket has a floating yoke and full leg-o-mutton sleeves with long narrow cuffs that have zipper closures. The jacket itself has a center front opening with no closure. The neckline, edges of closure, hem, and cuffs are edged in heavily beaded bands added by the designer. Designer's label sewn inside back at neck: "Richard Brooks". The blouse is of heavy pink silk, collarless, with round neckline. It is short-sleeved, with pleating at the shoulder. Vertical seaming on front and back for structure. There is a concealed center-back closure with snap at top and 5 clear plastic circular buttons down the length. The blouse is lined in a dark, dusty pink silk and has sewn-in shoulder pads. Designer's label is sewn inside back to the left of the opening: "Richard Brooks". The two skirts are are both of identical pink silk, matching the blouse, of identical construction. One is knee-length, and the other is full-length. Both are lined in the same pink silk as the jacket. The short skirt has designer's label sewn in at waistband: "Richard Brooks". Worn by Governor Ann Richards when she spoke at the Gridiron Club in Washington, 1992.

Festival ensemble from the Lisu, a Thai hill tribe. a) Top. b) Pants of hand-woven cotton with rice paste indigo resist patterning, applique, and cross stitch. c) Pouch of woven bamboo stained a dark maroon. Flat oval top, oval body, tapering to ridge at bottom. Lid secured with loop and latch. Around body of bag is band of blue and red beads and small bells. Maroon feather "pendants" at either side which terminate in a bell. Black cord shoulder strap, with "bracelet" form fastened around strap, of maroon yarn with cowrie shells. Unlined. d) Headpiece. Flat top crown of wound bamboo with 6cm wide headband. Back of headpiece has a hanging 18cm panel of black woven hemp(?) fabric. Entire headpiece is elaborately trimmed in strung and hanging shells, beads, ribbons, and silver studs.
