The Color of Money

Designed somewhat as a toque, the hat has a high, cylindrical crown which is encircled at base by a wide black velvet ribbon with bow at back and spray of black feathers extending from bow. Hat
Hat of black, white, and silver artificial straw. Somewhat in a pillbox style, the cylindrical crown has a flattened top with a slight "overhang" on all sides, and is designed with the straw couched down on the top, running in parallel bands of color from side to side. Sides of crown covered in 2" wide band of shiny black vinyl like patent leather, with a swallow-tail pennant segment extending from the back of the hat. Lined in white fabric. Hat
Hat of woven pink straw. In the "Flower-pot" style, the hat has a tall, cylindrical crown, flattened at top. At base of crown is a wide band pleated pink chiffon which has a cross-over in back and bow in front. At front are affixed artificial pink chiffon-like roses with green leaves and stems. The brim of the hat curves down and curls under at edge, but is covered by layers of matching pink chiffon. The hat is unlined, with inner pink grosgrain ribbon hatband.
