Ten Plastic Concepts on a Love Scene

Description: The painting consists of shapes floating together and overlapping in places. Two large yellow shapes in the upper portion of the canvas appear as sun type images. A brown shape resembles two seated figures and floats in the upper portion of the painting. A brown meandering shape moves across the lower section of the painting. Surrounding the brown meandering shape is blue which might represent water.

Description: Evening ress of white textured velvet; Idlewild ball gown; copied from a dress by Madeleine Vionnet; tiny silver beads around neckline and armholes; sleeveless; bias cut; wrap style bodice in front and back; empire waistline; flared skirt; full-length; low V neckline in front and back.

Yachting ensemble

Description: Yachting costume of blue and white cotton; three pieces: a) Jacket of blue cotton with white lining, no closure. b) Blouse of white cotton with asymmetrical red stripe from left shoulder to right hip, v-neck, star and stripe accents on red stripe. c) Culottes of blue cotton. Street length. Flapped opening is trimmed with three nonfunctioning brass buttons on each side of flap with closure of hook & eyes and snaps. Button pinned to tag of gold, stamped with braiding and anchor motif.

Description: Long dinner gown of black wool; trimmed with black satin shawl collar, finely pleated, crossed in front surplice style extending just over hips; straight silhouette in front; bias cut back; slightly padded shoulders; uneven hemline in front where squared piece cut out in front of feet; With V shaped fluted white satin dickie in front, high neck band, which is listed on individual record.
