Santa Fe
In this black and white painting are depicted three men. The two main figures wear cowboy hats and the figure on the right side of the painting also sports a sheriff's badge in the shape of a star. The brushstrokes are loose and expressive. The men appear to be having a dialogue.
Silk Panel I
The vertically running piece consists of a predominately dark ground with some vertical stripes in lighter colors and shades. Moving inward from the lower two corners are some mountainous shapes that overlap on the lower edge and meet again in the upper portion of the piece in front of the vertical striping.

Space Behind the Dark Wall
The dark ground of the piece also contains square shapes that create great depth and floating on the surface appear trapezoidal pink shapes. The blue ground contains square that gradate from very dark to somewhat lighter and pink in tone. The pink shapes on the surface, floating parallel to the ground, gradate from a lighter pink to darker pink.
Wind
The work depicts a landscape sort of space with a striated mountainous shape on the left side of the work and at the bottom of the mountain are some white ripples of water. On the right side of the work are two white shapes, resembling the sheets of floating paper, may depict snow covered mountains. Floating down through the sky are several white shapes that appear to be sheets of paper. Some very think ribbons float horizontally through the space.

The artwork consists of four panels each turned on point. A grid ladder pattern turned in various directions appears in each panel. The colors are warm reddish browns and light blues. Other rectangular and triangular outlined shapes appear scattered across the panels.

The artwork depicts some cloud like or wave like shapes in the foreground floating into the distance. The ground is depicted in a series of gradated stripes of dark purples and blues, also receding into the distance.

This queen sized bedspread, screen printed on cotton velvet, was created while Spear studied at Cranbrook Art Academy in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The bedspread gradates from purples to blues with long wave shapes in a pale yellow gold color.

Acrylic paint on paper depicting two large squares, one turned forty-five degrees and both filled with small lines, dots, and dashes creating many more small grids. Light blues and purples dominate.

Orson
The painting, mostly monochromatic, depicts a portrait of Orson Welles in the top two-thirds of the canvas. Along the bottom edge, also in monochromatic tones, are men depicted in combat with automatic weapons. At the right edge, the face of a superhero is depicted in pink, blue, red and yellow. Running vertically in the left hand portion of the canvas is a depiction of lined notebook paper with a small pencil sketch of a landing craft or space ship.
