Ensemble - Dress and Bolero

Description: Ensemble. A) Bolero jacket is of red-orange with long sleeves. The cuffs, mandarin collar, hem, and center-front opening are edged with a wide band of off-white fur (fox or mink?). The jacket is decorated with closely-sewn rhinestones. The jacket is fully lined in cream fabric, and has a single hook-and-eye closure near throat. The jacket has no labels. B) Dress is of ivory wool, full-length, and sleeveless with a scoop-neck. Slightly A-line, with a slit at left side from hem up 18". Neckline is lower in back than front, and there is a center back zipper closure with hook-and-eye at top. The dress is fully lined in cream fabric. Designer's label in dress at side seam: "Norman Norell / New York". C) Wide belt of ivory wool, with lengthwise parallel stitching and large fabric-covered rectangular buckle. No labels on belt.

Description: Daytime, travel ensemble in heather oatmeal wool jersey knit. a) Blazer. Single breasted with 7 self-covered buttons and bound buttonholes. Long, set-in sleeves; Peter Pan collar. Two small patch pockets on sides at breast and two larger patch pockets on hips. Lined in beige silk. Designer's label at center back neckline: "Norman Norell / New York" Care label below designer's label: "Care Instructions / Professionally / Dry Clean Only" Retailer's label at inside right hem: "Lou Lattimore / Dallas" b) Slacks. Full length; wide cut. Narrow waistband. Center back zipper with hook & eye. Unlined. c) Belt of self. 1-1/2" wide.

Description: Ensemble of green silk faille. Over-bodice. Short, cropped top with wide, rounded neckline. The short, set-in sleeves are open along the entire top, each sleeve with 3 sets of 4 paired eyelets which are laced with three ties per sleeve. Center back zipper opens from bottom, not opening all the way to back neckline. Designer's label at right side seam: "Christian Dior - New York Inc." Dress. Below-knee length, with wide rounded neckline. Sleeveless, with fitted bodice. Slightly raised waist(?), into which the full skirt is gathered and pleated. Center back zipper with hook & eye at neckline, and hook and loop at waist. Unlined. Designer's label at inside back below zipper: "Christian Dior New York, Inc." Retailer's label at inside back below zipper: "Neiman-Marcus" Center back zipper with hook & eye at neckline and hook & loop at waist. Belt for dress, narrow, of green leather faced with green silk faille matching dress and overbodice. Single loop, and 3-snap catch. Stamped on reverse: "8 Christian Dior / New York"

Description: Evening dress of black and white wool satin gaberdine with matching jacket. a) Evening dress. Front and back centered panels of white fabric with sides of black fabric. Sleeveless, squared neckline, full length. Center back zipper closure. Very tailored, completely lined in white silk. Designer's label at inside back zipper: "Jean Marie Armand / Paris / Made in France" b) Jacket. Center front opening with four covered snaps. Bracelet length sleeves with turned-back cuffs in white fabric with one pointed end. Peter Pan collar in white fabric. Front and back centered panels of white fabric with sides and sleeves of black fabric. Completely lined in white silk. Designer's label at inside back neckline: "Jean Marie Armand / Paris / Made in France"

Description: Evening dress of black chiffon with silver and gold glittered decoration. Silver glitter in rectangular pattern overlapping roses in gold glitter. Applied in dots that appear to be glued to the chiffon. Full length with long sleeves having 3/4" black satin cuffs secured with 2 covered snaps. Keyhole neckline which extends to center front opening to hem; edges of neckline and opening trimmed in 3/4" black satin. Opening is secured with eleven self covered buttons with chain-stitched loops and reinforced with hook & eye at top and at natural waist; only first five buttons are functional. At natural waist is a 2-1/4" black satin ribbon belt that forms a bow at the center front opening and secured with hook & eye and snap behind the bow. Sleeves are lined with extra layer of black chiffon, and body of dress is lined in silk polyester(?). Designer's label at top center back: "Ferdinando Sarmi" Care label beneath designer's label: "Dry Clean Only"

Description: Evening dress of silk printed with Pucci-style abstract design in pink, purple, blue, yellow, grey, and off-white abstract design. Full length, with slightly flared, 3/4 length sleeves. Dropped waist. Diagonal seams from mid-waist to V-neck front. Center back zipper closure with hook & eye. Fully lined in yellow silk with jacquard maker's logo throughout. Designer's label inside back near neckline: "Bessi / Firenze Italia" Fabric has "Bessi" signature in fabric design. Care tag 1 inch below maker's tag: "To be dry cleaned only / Lavare a Secco" "Made in Italy Pure Silk" sewn in just below care tag.

Long sleeves. One-inch wide band of gold sequins around neckline, along opening, sleeve cuffs and inside of hem. Lined in black synthetic. Designer's label at center back neckline: "Royal Lynne" Label below designer label: "Made in Hong Kong 10" B) Blouse in short, box style. Collarless, with rounded neckline. Covered with horizontal wide stripes of alternating gold and black sequins. Around collar and armholes are 1" wide bands of gold sequins. Center back zipper. Lined in black synthetic. Designer's label at back neckline: "Royal Lynne" Label below designer label: "Made in Hong Kong 10" C) Skirt of black sequins. Knee length, straight. Left side zipper with hook & eye. Lined in black synthetic with black grosgrain ribbon inner waistband. Size "10" tag with handwritten "748" on reverse at center back seam of lining near hem.
