Straw cloche

Description: Cloche hat of burnt sienna-colored straw. The high domed crown of woven straw is decorated with flowers and leaves formed by embroidering and couching using fine brown and cream cloth rather than thread. The brown fabric flowers have beaded centers. The very narrow brim of matching straw is turned up at front, edged with brown fabric, and bound with dark golden yellow threads. Wall Street Banquet, Court of Fiestas, Corridor of the Agrarian Revolution

Description: This panel of the mural depicts eight people at a dinner table. On the table is a sculpture resembling the Statue of Liberty. Behind the table appears to be a vault with a black figure holding the vault. Each of the diners holds a portion of a cash register tape that emerges from a cash register underneath glass.
